Privacy Policy

MERASAH is a workout planning and tracking app. This policy explains the information the app collects, why it is collected, and the choices available to you. MERASAH is a product and brand operated by Mohammed Almadhani as an individual.

Information we collect

Every category below is collected only to make the app work and is not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Email address, customer support content, and the device identifier may be linked to you or to your device. Crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data are not linked to anyone.

• Email address — only the optional contact address you may type into the Send Feedback form, so we can reply. It is never taken from Apple, and there is no account it belongs to.
• Customer support content — the message and report type sent with a feedback report, together with the app version, build number, iOS version, and device model attached to that report.
• Device identifier — a random identifier your device generates for itself, plus the Apple push token, sent only if you turn notifications on. The same request carries the platform, app version, time zone, language, and whether a backup destination is configured. It is not an advertising identifier, and it is not linked to any account, because there is none.
• Crash data — reports produced when the app stops unexpectedly.
• Performance data — timings such as how long the app takes to become usable.
• Other diagnostic data — technical details that help diagnose a fault.

What stays on your device

The following is stored only on your device and is never sent to us: every workout, set, rep, and rest; your personal records, estimated one-rep maxes, and streaks; your body measurements, including height, weight, date of birth, and gender; your custom exercises and custom programmes; your private exercise notes; your progress photos and any image you choose from your photo library; and your subscription status, which the app works out on your device from Apple’s StoreKit and never transmits. There is no account, and there is no server copy of any of it.

What we do not collect

MERASAH does not collect your location, and it does not receive or store your payment-card details — Apple processes the transaction. There is no advertising or attribution software in the app, no advertising identifier, and no cross-app tracking.

Diagnostics are processed by Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) on our behalf. Reports carry no name, no email address, no body measurement, and no screenshot of the app.

When you start or complete an official programme or workout, the app sends an event type and a fixed catalogue identifier. The event carries no device identifier and nothing that could link two events together.

How we use information

All of it is used to run the app: to deliver notifications you have enabled, answer support requests, and keep the service reliable and safe.

Payments

Subscriptions are purchased and processed through Apple. MERASAH does not receive your subscription status: the app reads it on your device.

We do not sell your personal information

MERASAH does not sell your personal information.

That is a promise about selling, and it is not the same as a promise that nobody else ever handles your data. Running the app requires providers that work on our behalf — hosting and subscription processing — and your information reaches them for that purpose alone. They may process it only to deliver those functions, and not for their own.

Retention and deletion

There is no account to delete. The information listed above is kept only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for: a feedback report until it is resolved and for a reasonable period afterwards, a device registration until the device stops registering or notifications are turned off, and diagnostics for a limited retention window in Sentry.

Everything the app stores about your training lives only on your device. Settings ▸ Danger Zone ▸ “Delete All Local Data” erases it permanently and immediately, and there is no server copy to restore it from. This does not cancel an Apple subscription — only the App Store can do that.

Your choices

There is no profile to edit on a server. You can turn notifications off in Settings, erase all local data from Settings ▸ Danger Zone, and export all local data as JSON from Settings ▸ “Download My Data”. You can also write to support@merasah.com about information sent with a feedback report.

Health data is not medical care

MERASAH stores the body and training details you enter so you can track them yourself. It is a tool for organizing and tracking workouts, not a medical service: it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not assess your health.

Children

MERASAH is not intended for children under the minimum age required to consent to digital services in their country.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we update the effective date above and publish the revised version on this page.
